Do you want to wear some handmade beaded jewelry art so unique that there isn't even a mold to throw away? If so, this necklace is for you. This handmade beaded jewelry art, is housed in it's own Redwood Stained display case, pinned to an off white linen backing for ease of removal and redisplay.
The base of the necklace is done in
peyote stitch with some netting stitch in tiny beads at
the lower end of the necklace. Most of the base is
composed of 3mm light and dark amber square beads.
The lower part of this handmade beaded jewelry art is a combination of beads, from
size 14 seed beads to size 11 seed beads
in amber and gold tones,
forming a net, with a "v" pattern of 3mm round beads within the net.
This handmade beaded jewelry art was stitched freehand.
Attached at the bottom is another "v" shaped
section, which is stitched in bugle beads and size 11 seed beads,
with 3mm red drop beads at the tip of each bugle bead.
The upper part of the handmade beaded jewelry art is composed of Russian leaves sewn to the base of the necklace. The video on this page shows some of the beading of both the peyote base and the Russian leaves.
There is a copper pendant in the center of the necklace. It contains a polymer clay cabochon and polymer clay underlayment, which shows through the cut out decoration in the copper. The pendant is attached to the main part of the necklace by threading through tube rivets made at the sides of the pendant.
The earrings of this handmade beaded jewelry art are made of a concave circle of copper. Russian leaves hang from a tube rivet in the copper and small fringes have been beaded around the openings of the rivets.
This handmade beaded jewelry art is shipped in a no-bend cardboard box, with edge protectors around the edges of the display case, wrapped in bubblewrap.
